The Winfield R-IV School District is accepting applications for a Director of Operations to directly supervise transportation, maintenance, and custodial staff. The Director of Operations will assist the superintendent in the broad aspects of personnel, transportation, maintenance, custodial, buildings and grounds, capital projects, finance, and school facilities. Competent educational leadership is expected, while maintaining a relationship of mutual respect and confidence. 

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Supervises all transportation, maintenance, and custodial staff
• Supervises emergency management and safety
• Plan active shooter trainings
• Regularly inspects buidlings and grounds
• Perform other tasks and assume responsibilities as the superintendent and assisitant superintendent  may assign from time to time. 

Effective: July 1, 2025

Term: 12-month contract

Salary: Commensurate on experience*
